The remaining sections of the A4260 Banbury Road/Oxford Road between a point 75 metres northwest of its junction with Langford Lane and a point 200 metres northwest of its junction with the Kidlington roundabout, and Langford Lane will retain a 30mph speed limit, with Officers having taken the current road environment & traffic usage into account. The remaining 40mph speed limits on the A4165 Banbury Road/Oxford, A4260 Oxford Road & Frieze Way (including the roundabout), Bicester Road, and Bicester Road (C43) will remain* as currently signed. * Note - These proposals are separate to those consulted on in July/ August 2022 as part of the 'North Oxford corridor' scheme Kidlington Roundabout improvement works, which if approved will see these speed limits reduced to 30mph.
