Victoria Road N18 And Park Road N18 -Introduction Of A Raised Pedestrian Crossing And The Introduction Of 'At Any Time' Waiting Restrictions

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield (Event Day) (Waiting Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*, The Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction)(Amendment No. *) Traffic Order 202* under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders referred to in paragraph 1 of this Notice would be to extend the 'At any time' waiting restrictions on the east side of Victoria Road and the north side of Park Road.

3. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) has approved, under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and sections 90A-I of the Highways Act 1980:

(a) the introduction of a new raised parallel (pedestrian and pedal cycle) crossing on a flat-top road hump on Victoria Road, north of its junction with Park Road;

(b) the introduction of kerb build-outs outside Nos. 56 & 57 Victoria Road, and on the north side of Park Road at its junction with Victoria Road.

The extent of the new crossing including the associated zig-zag markings (which would prohibit all vehicles from stopping on them for any reason at all times) would be as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

4. The flat-top road hump referred to in 3 (a) above would be an elevated section of carriageway, with a flat top, 75 millimetres higher at its highest point than the surrounding carriageway and extending across the whole width of the carriageway from kerb to kerb.

5. A copy of the proposed Orders and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am - 5pm inclusive.
