(Marcham Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, as a result of residential development adjacent to the A415 Marcham Road in Marcham, and for road safety reasons, is to extend the existing 30mph speed limit eastwards to a point 270 metres east of its junction with Howard Cornish Road, reducing the existing 50mph speed limit by the same amount.

These proposals will be accompanied by the provision of a pedestrian refuge and new footway improvements. The Oxfordshire County Council (Marcham Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2020 will be revoked/replaced. Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by 16 December 2022. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
