(Fritwell Parish) (20mph Speed Limits) Order 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Fritwell, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits in their entirety, leading out of the village (and extending in some places) to the following points:
1. East Street:
a) Northern end - a point 165 metres northeast of its crossroad junction with North Street (an extension of 129 metres);
b) Southern end - a point 215 metres southwest of Forge Place (an extension of 61 metres).
2. Fewcott Road - a point 115 metres southeast of Hodgson Close (an extension of 77 metres).
3. North Street - a point 146 metres southwest of Town Well End.
4. The unnamed road running north-westwards - a point 180 metres northeast of East Street (an extension of 136 metres).
The Oxfordshire County Council (Fritwell Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2003 will be revoked/replaced as necessary Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 02 December 2022. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref: CM/12.6.219)
