(Clanfield Area) (Speed Limits) Order 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Clanfield, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits in their entirety, leading out of the village to points on:
1. B4020 Bourton Road - a point 14 metres north of its junction with Calcroft Lane,
2. A4095 Bampton Road - a point 24 metres northeast of its junction with Marsh Lane,
3. Marsh Lane:
a. Northern end - a point 96 metres southeast of its junction with the A4095 Bampton Road,
b. Southern end - a point 90 metres southeast of its junction with the A4095 Main Street,
4. Mill Lane - a point 127 metres west of its junction with Queens Crescent,
5. A4095 Main Street - a point 376 metres south of its junction with Marsh Lane.
The existing 40mph & 50mph speed limits on the A4095 between Clanfield and Faringdon will remain in place, having taken the current road environment & traffic usage into account.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Clanfield Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2011 will be revoked/replaced as necessary Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 28 October 2022. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref: CM/12.6.169)
(Brize Norton Parish) (Speed Limits) Order

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Brize Norton, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits in their entirety, leading out of the village to points on:
1. Station Road - a point 282 metres south of its junction with Honeyham Close,
Station Road - a point 282 metres south of its junction with Honeyham Close,
2. Carterton Road - a point 345 metres southwest of its junction with Manor Road/Station Road,
3. Elm Grove/Witney Road - a point 205 metres northeast of its junction with Minster Road,
4. Minster Road - a point 87 metres south of its junction with the B4477 Carterton Link Road,
5. Burford Road - a point 103 metres northwest of its junction with Kilkenny Lane.
The existing 40mph speed limits on the B4477 Monahan
Way/Norton Way (Carterton Link Road) & Carterton Road
will remain in place, having taken the current road
environment & traffic usage into account.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Brize Norton Parish)
(Speed Limits) Order 2008 will be revoked/replaced as
necessary.
