Notice GWASTOD COMMON

Town of Abertillery County Borough Council of Blaenau Gwent RWE Renewables UK Ltd. has applied to the Welsh Ministers for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Gwastod Common (CL16). The proposed works are: (i) the installation of a temporary steel anemometry mast of up to 100m in height with anchoring points and will cover 0.79 acres including 150metres in length of fencing around the anemometry mast. The works and fencing will be located at Grid Reference 323504, 205053. A copy of the application form and map showing the proposed works can be inspected at Abertillery Library, Station Hill, Abertillery NP13 1TE between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.30 pm Tuesday to Friday, and between the hours of 9.00 am and 1.00 pm on Saturdays (not public holidays) until the 19 day of September 2022.
