OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(OXFORD, COWLEY MARSH AREA) (CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (VARIATION NO.2) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - to help reduce obstruction and improve highway safety - is to introduce new sections of No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking prohibitions in East Oxford as follows:

a) Reliance Way - on both sides between the junction with Cowley Road & the spur leading to Saunders Road, new DYL restrictions will replace areas of unrestricted parking outside of the allocated parking bays which will remain available for parking, and

b) Saunders Road - a) on the northeast side in front of the bollards at its junction of Reliance Way, and b) on the southeast side outside property Nos.42-58 for approximately 50 metres.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Cowley Marsh Area) (Controlled Parking Zone And Waiting Restrictions) Order 2020 will be further amended as necessary. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by 24 June 2022. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
