Temporary 30mph Speed Limit, Coombe Road, Winterbourne Steepleton
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 2 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31 October 2022.
This Order will enable National Grid Company to restrict vehicle speeds when passing
the haul route used by construction traffic. The effect of the order is as follows;
1 To impose a 30 mph speed limit on Coombe Road, Winterbourne Steepleton just prior to the entrance to Westfield Farm Car Sales to the end of the existing 30mph limit in the village approximately 315 metres in a north easterly direction. Temporary Traffic Management Order of Various Roads, Buckland Newton'
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
1 To impose a temporary road closure on;
SPRING LANE, between its junction with Factory Lane and its junction with B3146, a distance of approximately 940 metres.
CRANES MEADOW, northern cul-de-sac, a distance of approximately 40 metres.
UNNAMED ROAD, between its junction with Cranes Meadow and its junction with Hilling Lane, a distance of approximately 940 metres.
2 To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along;
SPRING LANE, between its junction with Factory Lane and its junction with B3146, a distance of approximately 940 metres.
CRANES MEADOW, northern cul-de-sac, a distance of approximately 40 metres.
UNNAMED ROAD, between its junction with Cranes Meadow and its junction with Hilling Lane, a distance of approximately 940 metres.
3 To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along;
SPRING LANE, between its junction with Factory Lane and its junction with B3146, a distance of approximately 940 metres.
CRANES MEADOW, northern cul-de-sac, a distance of approximately 40 metres.
UNNAMED ROAD, between its junction with Cranes Meadow and its junction Hilling Lane, a distance of approximately 940 metres.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 22 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 April 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
1 To impose a temporary road closure on HAZEL LANE, PUNCKNOWLE from its junction with Litton Lane to its junction with Church Street, a distance of approximately 850 metres.
2 To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along HAZEL LANE, PUNCKNOWLE from its junction with Litton Lane to its junction with Church Street, a distance of approximately 850 metres.
3 To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along HAZEL LANE, PUNCKNOWLE from its junction with Litton Lane to its junction with Church Street, a distance of approximately 850 metres.
The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: Litton Lane - Rectory Lane - Church Street.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant. Temporary Closure of White Way, Litton Cheney
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along WHITE WAY, LITTON CHENEY between Malahide and a point approximately 460 metres to the north. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 11 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 06 May 2022.
This Order will enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to work collaboratively with Openreach for safe access to excavate for new electricity supply and cabling to phone mast.
An alternative route will be signed using: Chalk Pit Lane - A35.

Notice is hereby given that an Inspector will be appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine Dorset Council (Public Footpath 24 (Part), 160, 161 (Part), 162 and Public Bridleway 21 (Part), Weymouth) Public Path Diversion Order 2020 and will attend at:
Committee Room 3, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ On Tuesday 17 May 2022 at 10.00am
To hold a hearing into the Order
The appointed Inspector will also open the Hearing as a virtual event on Tuesday 17 May 2022 at 10.00am.
Anyone wishing to attend the Hearing virtually must register that interest with the Council as soon as possible prior to the Hearing, but no later than Friday 29 April 2022 at 12pm, either by email or telephone, details of which are set out at the bottom of this notice.
To take part using video, participants will need to have access to Microsoft Teams (via an app or web browser). The link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/welcome-to-microsoft-teams-b98d533f-118e-4bae-bf44-3df2470c2b12  gives further information on how to use this. Alternatively, you can take part by telephone. Registered participants will receive individual joining instructions, providing details of any requirements, guidance and support, whether joining by Teams or telephone.
Information regarding social distancing, face masks etc. will be displayed on signs on entry to the Hearing and also on the website. A bundle of case documents will be provided for the Inspector.
