Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kennington, Old Abingdon Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 14 March 2022 Coming into force: 21 March 2022 This Order is being introduced because of 2 phases of site investigation works including geotechnical boreholes. The first from 21 March to 7 April, and the second from 13 to 23 April. They will operate between 22:00 and 05:00hours. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of Old Abingdon Road from Kennington Road to the A423 ring road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. The alternative route for traffic is via the A423 Southern By-pass Eastbound, and the A4144 Abingdon Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9993/AC)

Thame, Nelson Street
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 11 April 2022 Coming into force: 19 April 2022 This Order is being introduced because of fibre cable ducting installation works which are anticipated to be completed 9 May 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Nelson Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Abingdon, Dunmore Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 4 April 2022 Coming into force: 11 April 2022 This Order is being introduced because of road resurfacing and improvement works which are anticipated to be completed 24 April 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic proceeding in the whole length of Dunmore Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Wootton road, B4017, Vineyard, Oxford Road, Dunmore Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. (Various Roads - South Oxfordshire) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2021 (Variation No.*) Order 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order is to amend parking prohibitions in various locations within South Oxfordshire as follows:
A. Crowmarsh (Map tile No.GW85) - remove a 32 metre section of 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) within the layby on the southern side of The Street, outside property nos. 74-82.
B. Didcot (GU65 & GU66) - introduce new double yellow lines on both sides of the B4493 Wantage Road, from its roundabout junction with Foxhall Road/Broadway, westwards to a point 25 metres west of the junction with Barley Fields.
C. Garsington (FJ77 & FJ78) - introduce a new 46 metre section of double yellow lines on the northern side of Pettiwell between the existing restrictions outside the vehicle dismantlers commercial property.
D. Warborough (GJ82) - following a previous consultation carried out in 2019 and subsequent approval given in January 2020, amended proposals for Thame Road are being put forward consisting of:
i. i ntroduce a reduced section of double yellow lines on both sides for 25 metres either side of the junction with Six Acres, and
ii. install new mandatory School Keep Clear marking with associated 'No Stopping Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm' restriction for 50 metres on the eastern carriageway, either side of the access to the St Laurence Church of England Aided School.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - South Oxfordshire) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting And Permitted Parking) Order 2021 will be amended as necessary, updating the relevant Map Tiles as referenced above.
There will also be administrative amendments to the articles of the order relating to the removal of references to "Parking Attendants" which have been replaced by "Civil Enforcement Officers" under Traffic Management Act 2004. Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by 6 May 2022. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref.
