Freemantle - (Bitterne) Common Southern Gas Networks

PUBLIC NOTICE
Freemantle - (Bitterne) Common Southern Gas Networks Plc has applied tothe Secretary of State for Environment, Foodand Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Freemantle Common, Peartree Avenue, Southampton. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State. The proposed works: to replace an existing gas governor within the Common, the works involve a small excavation and the removal of the existing governor to be replaced with new uprated equipment in situ.The excavations will be protected by the use of temporary fencing. A copy of the application can be inspected at Bittern Library, Bitterne Road East, S018 5EG during normal Library hours until 20th September 2019. A copy of the application may be obtained by writing to Land Services Ltd, 23 Park Road, Egham, Surrey, TW209BJ
