Battersea Power Station opened its doors to the public for today for the first time in almost 40 years, with the five day Festival of Power marking the occasion.

The opening marks the second phase of a £9billion regeneration project which has seen the decommissioned power plant and the surrounding area transform into a luxury riverside neighbourhood.

Station A and Station B are now luxury mixed use space housing more than 100 high end brands and retailers including Nike, Aesop, Ace & Tate and Jo Malone London.

It's restaurants and eateries include Where The Pancakes Are, Battersea Brewery, Cinnamon Kitchen.

The station also has a lift that comes with 360-degree views of London's skyline, and 254 new apartments, the first residents of which moved in in 2021.

An Arcade Food Hall, ice skating rink and cinema are set to open in 2023.

The Festival of Power continues throughout the weekend, until Sunday, October 16 with a programme of family-friendly events, and then again on Saturday and Sunday October 22-23.
