This summer, King's Cross plays host to an outdoor film festival with free pop-up open air cinema, Screen on the Canal.
Lead Photo: Everyman
One of London's most vibey string of cinemas, Everyman, in partnership with Jaguar, set up home on King's Cross's iconic Ghat Steps, off Granary Square to host a programme of cinematic entertainment from June 27 to August 7.
Relax and recline on bean bags, loungers or the steps themselves while you soak up the atmosphere and catch an A-grade film or TV series - perfect for a family day out, night out with the pals, or a causal date night even.
Films run through the day and include feel-good favourites such as The Greatest Showman, Grease, Top Gun and Encanto Sing-a-Long, as well as live music performances and sporting action from the centre court at Wimbledon and the F1 tracks.
Of course, the Everyman experience wouldn’t be complete without food and drink, as those who have ever watched the closing credits roll in a haze of rose.
Guests will be able to order from Everyman’s menu, which includes its vegan burgers, as well as a selection of wine and summer cocktails for the ultimate al fresco movie night.
Sessions are unticketed and seats are on a first-come-first-served basis, so arrive early.
Screen on the Canal runs from June 27-August 7, and for more information visit kingscross.co.uk
