An adorable exhibition that puts animals which are up for adoption in front of the camera will open in Hampstead later this month.
Anything Is Pawsible, curated by natural pet food brand Burns Pet Nutrition and animal welfare charity Mayhew, will open on Friday, July 28 at pet friendly cafe, Romeo & Juliet’s to celebrate 30 years of the brand’s support of independent animal charities.
Running for two weeks until Thursday August 10, portraits of 10 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will go on display, all of which are up for adoption.
While the exhibition is running, visitors are encouraged to make donations to Mayhew, and can even take one of the animals home.
The portraits of the animals looking for their forever homes have been taken by pet photographer, Rhian Gruffydd (@gruffpawtriats).
Rhian’s photos will be available to buy, with the proceeds going to the charity.
Mayhew animal charity improves the lives of dogs, cats and people in London and internationally. It helps people stay together with their animals, in particular working with rough sleepers and people experiencing homelessness to keep and care for their much-needed canine family members, and providing short term animal shelters for people in crisis.
The charity also provides free and low cost vet services for low-income earners in Ealing, Brent, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster, and has teams in Afghanistan and Georgia improving animal welfare and managing free-roaming dog and cat populations.
Anything Is Pawsible runs July 18 to August 10 at Romeo & Juliet’s, at 5 Lyttelton Road, Hampstead Garden Suburb, N2 0DW.
