The open-air concert season is soon upon us, and a new series of day and evening outdoor gigs is set to grace the capital.
Battersea Park In Concert will fill the south-west London park with classical music, soul and jazz across three days during the August bank holiday.
Bring a picnic to feast on while listening to the likes of Gabrielle, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars take the stage from Saturday, August 26 to Monday, August 28.

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will play iconic West End numbers, accompanying guest vocalists with the Night at the Musicals programme, which kicks Battersea Park In Concert off on Saturday, August 26.
The world-class orchestra returns on Sunday, August 27 for Proms in the Park which is a night of classical masterpieces from composers including Tchaikovsky, Elgar and Puccini. For a touch of spectacle, the evening concludes with a fireworks finale.
On Monday, August 28, to finish the concert series, Dreams singer Gabrielle will perform following a sold out show at The Royal Albert Hall.
MOBO award-winning saxophonist YolanDa Brown, who has collaborated with Rick Astley and Stereophonics’ Kelly Jones will also take the stage for a performance filled with her signature energetic fusions of reggae, jazz and soul.
The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars are also set to play a lively homage to the jam sessions held in iconic Soho jazz venue.
