London has been voted the best place to visit in the world in 20233, which should come as a surprise to no one.
The New York Times recently named the capital as the top holiday destination, placing it ahead of 51 other places dotted around the world including Morioka, Japan (2nd place), Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in America (3rd place), and Kilmartin Glen in Scotland (fourth place).

The recently opened Battersea Power Station captured the attention of the New York Times, as did the Elizabeth Line (who doesn't love the Elizabeth Line?).
The paper is also looking forward to the coronation of King Charles III come May, and Natural History Museum's upcoming exhibition on Titanasaur - one of the hugest beasts to have roamed Earth.
