London trumps all other cities across the globe as the place with the most popular Christmas lights, according to an online study.
The study used Instagram hashtags and Google search data to rank the most sought-after locations for festive light displays, and unsurprising to us Londoners, London is at the top of this list.
Not only does Christmas at Kew light up London festive season after festive season with Christmassy cheer, Lightopia in Crystal Palace is also a stand out light trail that shines bright.

From Kensington to Belgravia, to Mayfair to Canary Wharf, London's neighbourhoods also bask in a festive glow this time of year.
London scored 164,891 on the Christmas Lights Index Score, followed by Liverpool in second place for the UK (18,487) and Bournemouth (12,877) in third place.
While London may have taken the crown, the USA ranks as the best country for Christmas-light gazing.
