For rooftop bar Florattica’s first New Year’s Eve party, there’s a champagne cocktail on arrival, a glass of Moët at midnight alongside canapes and small plates throughout the evening. A DJ, live saxophonist and an acrobat will entertain you, as will the views across the City of London. You’ve also got as prime spot to catch the fireworks.

Oh, Bacchanalia. If you wanted to be superstitious about New Year’s Eve, spending it here would set up your 2023 to be a lavish, sumptuous year, filled with comforts and decadence. Bookings start from 9pm, and guess will be treated to a tasting menu crafted for the night. There will also be live, immersive entertainment and an ‘operatic experience’, as well as DJ Jean Claude Ades bringing is brand of electronica to the evening to get the party started.

This decadent restaurant will ring in the New Year with a Black and Siver themed extravaganza. For food, you’ve got the truffle menu and limited-edition cocktails, and hopefully if you’re lucky, that lobster linguini. Toast the new year with a glass of champagne, and enjoy all this with DJs and live music until late.

5 Petersham Nurseries, Richmond & Covent Garden
There’s three restaurants to choose from under the Petersham umbrella, each one as florally and charmed as the others. Over in Richmond enjoy a candlelight prosecco buzz and a dinner under a canopy of bougainvillea and vines, with a live band to boot. The menu includes the likes of oysters, venison fillet with a celeriac, potato and thyme, and traditional Sardinian flatbreads. Covent Garden will put on a six course feast for the evening including dishes such as confit egg yolk and girolle mushrooms and slow-cooked beef, while La Goccia across the courtyard is putting on a sharing menu of seasonal Italian dishes like beef tartare and burrata with roasted pumpkin and agrodolce and has a DJ playing disco tunes until late.

The nose-to-tail restaurant has put together a feasting menu of regional Italian dishes to finish of the year with. The arts centre rounds off its Winter Festival with this big party to welcome in the new year. The Royal Festival Hall transforms into five floors of festivities featuring music across the decades, starting with the 1920s.
