The alfresco summer cocktail festival returns to Bedford Square Gardens for its second edition for the summer.

While essentially the same deal as the first session held last month, this time round, the boozy Bloomsbury festival will “celebrate London’s global reputation as a leading cocktail destination and the people that make it such an exciting place to be”, as part of its Travel Edition.

Running across three days, from Thursday, August 17 to Saturday, August 19, punters can expect top notch tipples, street food, masterclasses and workshops, as well as music and entertainment including a silent disco hosted by The Piano Works.

Some of London’s best bars will turn their schtick into a fleeting pop-up, bringing a taste of what they do to the festival.

Bars include The Aubrey, 8 at The Londoner, Café Pacifico, Laki Kane, Bourne & Hollingsworth, City Social, Cafe Pacifico, Nightjar, TT Liquor and Kindred.

Workshops include interactive cocktail workshop classes fsrom TT liqour and ice carving workshops with Tito's Vodka for those  who want to up their cocktail amking and presenting game. 

Sipsmith, Carlos Londono and Georgi Radev reps will hold talks to offer insights into gin, agave spirits and rum. 

As the series has partnered up with Everleaf non-alcholic aperitifs, even those who are off the booze for whatever reason can enjoy a drink. 

Wood and Water will serve Jamaican dishes, while Prairie Fire BBQ will cook up a smoky American-style BBQ and Get The Greek will prepare authentic Mediterranean dishes.

The Travel Edition follows a sell-out first edition held in July.  

Tickets to a Cocktails in the City’s Travel Edition session are £22 and include a welcome cocktail, and are available through the website.

Sessions start from Thursday, August 17 5pm-10pm; Friday, August 18 4pm-10pm and Saturday, August 19 12pm-4pm and 4pm-10pm.
