One of London’s top patisseries has just created a new sweet treat, and it looks delicious.
The South Kensington location of French patisserie, Maître Choux, have launched its decadent range of Miracle pastries.
Created by head executive chef, Olivier Mourelon - previously of the Michelin-starred Club Gascon as well as a Cordon Bleu lecturer - each Miracle is a spherically shaped pastry, sat atop a pie crust.
These pie crusts are stuffed with a nut-based or cream filling, while the sphere pastries are filled with layers of different flavoured layers – much like the layers of the Earth – and are designed to be a taste journey as you eat your way through the Miracle.
Layers include a tart and fudge brownie base topped with dark chocolate and argan oil ganache and Alpine milk chocolate mousse coated in dark chocolate glazing. There's also blueberry, lemon and berry flavoured Miracles.
Each Miracle is finished with a show topper filled baby choux.
Only available in the éclair and choux specialists’ South Kensington venue currently, only a limited number of miracles will be available each day and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.
They will be available in all stores from September.
