A new arts venue in King's Cross will open with an immersive David Hockney exhibition when it opens its doors next year.
David Hockney: Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away) is the first exhibition for Lightroom, which is set to be a new home for "spectacular" artist-led shows
Opening from January 25, 2023, Bigger & Closer sees Hockney join the immersive, digital art show trend that has seen works by the likes of Van Gogh, Klimt and Frida Kahlo presented in a fresh, new way.

The celebrated British artist will showcase some of his iconic paintings, as well as some rarely seen pieces and new works in a show that embraces Hockney's love of media and the possibilities it brings to his work.
Works are presented in six themed chapters and take the audience through LA, Yorkshire and Normandy, with a score composed by Nico Muhly.
Hockney reveals his process to the audience through commentry spoken by himself, so the audience can watch him experiment with perspective and format as he speaks.
The show is the result of three years' close collaboration between David Hockney, London Theatre Company and 59 Productions - the team behind Lightroom.
It is expected that Bigger & Closer will be the first of many creative shows made in collaboration with leading artists and innovators.
Tickets to see David Hockney: Bigger & Closer (not smaller and further away) are on sale now, starting from £25/£15 adult/student and available from Lightroom.
