Registrations are now open for ballkids for the Laver Cup tennis competition held at the O2 in September.
The tennis competition is looking to create a squad of 24 children aged between 12 and 16 years of age to do the all important job of ball collecting during matches.
In exchange, ballkids receive training, the best spot in the house, a ballkid uniform and the opportunity to take a look at court before the match starts.
Becoming a ballkid for the almost sold-out event is notorious for being difficult due to the lack of opportunities available. However the Laver Cup is making strides to open the opportunity to all kids by offering support with including support with travel, food and uniforms.
Trials take place on July 16-17, which will be followed by training sessions for the lucky selected kids.
If you're child is interested, be quick as numbers are limited.
