5 Poppy Cross
Fitness fanatic Poppy Cross has tried and tested almost any fitness class or trend that you could possibly imagine, not to mention spending four months lifting the lid on the gruelling Victoria Secrets models’ training schedule to see what really went into getting those bodies. Despite having abs to die for (check them out on her Instagram feed, which has 6,424 followers), Poppy isn’t a complete purist, and that’s why we like her so much, she still indulges in treats once in a while, emphasising the importance of a healthy balance in life.

6 Fitness on Toast
Fitness on Toast blogger and Swedish personal trainer Faya is not your average healthy eating/work-out mad blogger who avoids all the fun things in life. The North Londoner’s blog feed may be full of her looking amazing in leggings and trying out the latest work out, but her Instagram (which has accumulated over 107,000 followers) still shows her enjoying the C word – carbs – a food group that she feels is an important part of her training.

7 Elly Pear
Owner of Pear Café and InStyle columnist Elly Curshen, AKA Elly Pear, has carved out a name for herself as the person to go to for excellent 5:2 recipes. Working in the food industry, Elly found herself putting on a few extra pounds, and after friends suggested trying the 5:2, she never looked back. The key is having lots of 5:2 recipes and ideas, so she made it my mission to write recipes that worked for both fast and feast days. Her book Fast Days and Feast Days was released in April 2016. Instagram followers: 43,200

8 Lazy Girl Running
When Laura Fountain first decided to give running a go she discovered what so many of us already know – it’s hard. Hard to get motivated, hard to find the time and hard to keep those legs moving one in front of the other. That’s what makes Lazy Girl Running so appealing, running didn’t come naturally to Laura at first. Now though it’s a different story and the athletics coach and personal trainer blogs about how to start running, helps with marathon plans and gives the lowdown on what kit you need to embrace the race. 9 We are Tribe
Tribe was inspired by a 1,000 mile journey (Run for Love 1000) run by more than 250 people to raise funds and awareness for human trafficking. Three of the runners on that journey set up Tribe – healthy boxes of trail mixes to keep people full of energy when running. Off the back of the new venture they also launched a running club, a community of Londoners looking for new and adventurous places to run, and a successful blog listing inspiring people, places and recipes. It’s the full package really – both on and offline. Instagram followers: 9,174
