Help keep needy Londoners warm this winter by donating unwanted coats
Chestertons is supporting the ‘Calling London Winter Coat Drive‘ this winter by collecting coats for the homeless, the elderly, refugees and children in London.
Last year, a record number of 2,000 coats were collected and distributed via various shelters, charities, schools and food banks, and nearly a quarter of these were collected by Chestertons’ offices.
To beat last year’s total, Chestertons needs your help. The estate agent is asking Londoners to donate their unwanted winter coats by dropping them into their nearest Chestertons branch from 2 – 27 November 2015.
‘We are always looking at ways of helping the communities in which we operate, and with more than 30 offices on high streets across London, we are perfectly placed to collect people’s unwanted coats,’ says Giles Milner, Marketing Director of Chestertons. ‘This year we will be collecting at all of our London branches and are aiming to beat last year’s record of 2,000 coats by 50%.’
It’s the fifth year the ‘Calling London Winter Coat Drive’ campaign has run in the capital. Visit Chestertons in Islington to donate a coat or to find your nearest branch, go to chestertons.com/offices
