1 The Duke of Hammersmith
The Duke of Hammersmith is round the corner from the Hammersmith & City Line tube station in the centre of Hammersmith on Shepherds Bush Road. It was formerly surrounded by the iconic Hammersmith Palais. Now a Brew Dog pub it continues the music theme with a lively play list and at the weekend is a local brunch spot. For £35, guests can have one brunch dish and prosecco, lager or pale ale for two hours. Dishes range from burgers and scampi to Cajun chicken bowls. There are good vegan options and with a large outside area it is dog and child friendly.

2 Cellar at Kindred
Tucked in Hammersmith Broadway near the Piccadilly line is Hammersmith’s well-kept secret - Kindred, an attractive community space and restaurant which is also a members’ club with music and events. It's public-facing resturant Cellar has chef Andrew Clarke (Acme Fire Cult) helming the kitchen and comes with a lounge style vibe. Its interesting brunch menu includes a Polish smoked salmon and Twarozek bagel and a pea and asparagus smash.

3 Truth
Stop here for quality coffee and freshly prepared food - homemade cakes, salads, sandwiches, porridge and super healthy smoothies. Gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan options are also available. Breakfast and lunch is served every day. You might not get the bottomless bubbly, but this is a lovely spot for a caffeine boost and good food.

4 The Tea House Café
And brunch is not just for weekends. In Bishops Park, a small Victorian park with great river walks and views across The Thames towards the rowing clubs on Putney foreshore you find the lovely The Tea House Café which serves an all day brunch from Wednesday to Sunday. For brunch with a twist head to Fulham Road and Manuka Kitchen. 7 The Little Blue Door
The Little Blue Door is one of Fulham’s liveliest bars and restaurants. At the weekend it serves up a brunch which includes a vegan halloumi breakfast bun, a NY style breakfast burger and pancakes that come with an optional shot of rum. 9 Hally’s
Since opening in 2013, Hally’s in Parsons Green has barely had an empty table. Friends, family, babies and dogs flock for breakfast and brunch at this laid-back Californian-style café. It’s impossible not to love this place – slung-together interiors that eludes million-pound restaurant designers, good-looking staff and excellent Cali-inspired food. There’s something for every mood: if it’s sweet, go for the ricotta pancakes with berries, fig, honey and crème fraiche; for a savoury mood, we’d recommend the avocado on sourdough with chilli, lemon and rocket.

10 Chairs and Coffee
Chairs and Coffee is right next to Manuka Kitchen and often gets overlooked in favour of its neighbour. But don’t walk past without stopping in for at least a cup of coffee. It is one of the best cups you’ll get in Fulham. If you have time pull up a chair – there are loads – and have a croissant or fresh pastry too, or take a load off and settle in for a full breakfast.

11 St Clements
A relative newcomer to Parsons Green, St Clements opened in the latter half of 2014 and brought with it a kitchen full of seasonal goodies. In the winter food is comforting and hearty, while in the summer it’s lighter and fresh. Organic porridge is served with grated apple, toasted coconut and honey, while eggs come with avocado, dukkah, chorizo and other exotic ingredients. The health-conscious are sure to find something they like between the spelt muffins and smoked mackerel with pink grapefruit.

12 The Power of Yoga Juice Bar
It makes perfect sense for a studio full of hungry, thirsty yoga bunnies to open a healthy-eating café to feed them post savasana. The Power of Yoga Juice Bar is a lovely little spot for breakfast in Fulham, it’s calm, quiet and smells lovely – a mix of the incense and freshly-made gluten-free treats. The juice bar specialises in juices (obviously!) and smoothies, with the likes of spirulina, almond milk and wheatgrass featuring highly. But you can also refuel with a solid breakfast too.

13 Fulham Palace Café
Combine brunch or breakfast with a spot of morning of culture at this cafe. For a quick bite, there’s bacon baps or a sausage sandwich in focaccia but if you’ve time to linger, order the Bishop’s Brunch (bacon, sausage, mushrooms, eggs and sourdough) – it’s the virtuous version of a full English or the Boston baked beans, with chorizo, feta, red peppers and toasted sourdough, which are served until 12pm. In the summer have your breakfast outside in the gardens.
