Miami-themed The Palm House opened this autumn across two floors in the Nova development, a stone’s throw from Victoria station.
And the new venue wasted no time in launching its flagship weekend event - Big Party Brunch, which are available every Saturday.
The Palm House aims to transport its guests out of central London and into a 1930s Miami clubhouse, and the décor goes a long way to achieving that.

The upper floor is helped by the huge windows at the front of the building, which bring in loads of light, adding to the tropical feel.
When we arrived a saxophonist was improvising over afrobeat and dancehall music, before the party atmosphere was ramped up later in the afternoon when dancers in tropical outfits were added into the mix.
The party brunch comes with bottomless drinks and we were free to switch between the drinks on offer – sangria, rum punch, prosecco or beer - during our meal, which isn’t the case at every bottomless brunch out there.
In keeping with the tropical theme, the meal started with some big sharing plates of fresh fruit, which was a nice fresh way to get things started.
We then had our choice of tacos. I went with pork and chicken and the latter in particular was cooked to perfection.
For the main I went with a juicy burger and fries, but I also managed to snaffle some of my wife’s sweetcorn fritters and poached eggs which were equally tasty.
All the while the attentive staff made sure our drinks were always topped up and were happy to help with any requests we might have had.
For dessert it’s unlimited churros - which came with a couple of delicious dipping sauces - but I’ll be surprised if many go back for seconds as we were all sufficiently stuffed by this point.
The Palm House wants to be the place friends come to kickstart their weekend.
And on this evidence they’ve gone a long way to achieving that, as my group certainly left in good spirits having had a very enjoyable meal.
