One of London’s favourite pizza groups is celebrating a milestone birthday with a huge party.

Pizza Pilgrims celebrates its 10th birthday this month and are putting on One Day In Naples, described as  a ‘massive summer blowout’ to mark the occasion.

Held at Camden Town Brewery on Saturday, August 12, One Day In Naples will be a carb-filled day of fun.

The Neapolitan-style pizza specialists will serve up their slow-proved pizzas on the day topped with tried and tested classic toppings, and newly created toppings too.

Alongside this Neapolitan friggatoria (fried foods) will be available, as well as spritzes and a special Camden Town Brewery beer – a Pizza Pilgrims Amalfi Lager – to quaff.

DJs will play throughout the day as part of a jammed-packed entertainment programme that includes brewery tours, beer tasting, pizza-making masterclasses, cornhole and lemon keepie uppies.

Pizza Pilgrims started off  in 2012 as a pub-session fuelled pipedream between two brothers that turned into one of the UK’s most popular pizza restaurants, with multiple restaurants across London, including its newest location (and 20th site) in Queen’s Park in July this year.

In order to nail the pizza base, the two brothers Hames and Thom Elliot went on a six-week tour of Italy tasting ingredients and pizzas so to perfect the light, chewy crust Neapolitan pizzas are known for.
