Crazy golf brand Junkyard Golf Club will open their biggest venue yet in Camden Market.
Opening on the former site of Shaka Zulu restaurant in August, there will be four bars, and four themed nine-hole courses over two floors, including a 'techno nightmare,' and creepy fairground.
South African-themed Shaka Zulu was a feature of Stables Market for more than 12 years, but held its final event on New Year's Eve.
Now Junkyard Golf Club, which has outlets in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, Oxford and Shoreditch will move into the 19,500 square foot promising "flashing lights, UV and loud music" alongside "imaginitive, quirky design features".
The £2million fit out includes two course bars, a main bar across a full floor serving a new cocktail menu, and a bar for corporate private hire. Guests can snack on nachos and pizza while listening to a soundtrack of pop, dance and old school throughout the night.
Course Dirk is a "techno nightmare", where putters are dared to sit in an acid electric chair in an abandoned warehouse, transformed by strobe lighting.
Course Pablo, will test players' skills with Mexican wrestling bears, pirate speedboats, and glitter temples. Course Gary takes golfers on a journey down memory lane, surrounded by disco balls and scrap metal, complete with a UV disco room.
And course Bozo, is the creepiest, challenging players to confront their fears amidst circus freaks and fairground creeps, complete with ferris wheel and hall of mirrors.
Sam Jones, Managing Director of Junkyard Golf Club said: "We are thrilled to be opening our seventh venue for Junkyard Golf Club in the amazing location of Camden, right beside the iconic bridge in one of London's cultural hotspots. Camden will house our largest venue to date, allowing us to provide a unique and unforgettable experience for everyone who visits. We can’t wait to bring our brand of crazy golf to this culturally rich and diverse area of London, which sees over 100,000 visitors each weekend."
The Junkyard Golf Club Camden will open in August in The Stables Market, Chalk Farm Rd, London NW1.
