One of Bethnal Green's finest establishments has taken out top place at the recent Top 50 Cocktail Bars awards.
Satan's Whiskers, the graffiti covered haunt on Cambridge Heath Road, was crowned the best in the UK at last night's (Tuesday, February 7) award ceremony held at Omeara in London Bridge.
The Hackney neighbourhood drinking den beat last year's winner, Cardiff's Lab-22, to claim the prize position.

Unsurprisingly, London dominates the awards with 23 bars filling up the list, which features a lot of familiar names.
East London is well represented with Shoreditch's Tayēr + Elementary coming in at number three, Three Sheets in Dalston at number seven and the impossibly named Bar with Shapes for a Name on Kingsland Road in Haggerston taking ninth position.
The impeccable Connaught in Mayfair made the list in tenth spot, trailed by Little Mercies in Crouch End.
Another neighbourhood cocktail bar, Little Mercies also won the Sustainability Award, for the second year in a row.

Well trodden night spots also on the list include Nightjar in Shoreditch (19th), Homeboy in Islington (29th) and Callooh Callay also in Shoreditch (37th).
Relative newcomer Silverleaf, found in the Pan Pacific London and styled out with Tom Dixon sophistication, also made the list (38th) while Amaro, which opened in Kensington last year claimed the 46th spot.
