Swedish meatballs may not be funny, but the comedians coming after your three-course Scandi meal at this St James's Market restaurant should be.
Aquavit London will now serve up sublime Nordic flavours and the laughs when the restaurant launches its Comedy Fridays on Friday, February 3.

The evenings will start with a three-course set menu featuring the likes of herrings with sour cream, venison crudo with blackberries, and Swedish meatballs with lingonberries before taking guests into the restaurant's Stockholm Room to be entertained by a top-notch comedian and lubricated with a well-mixed cocktail or two.
Paul F Taylor (Harry Hill's Clubnite and Radio 4) will kick things off, followed by Pete Selwood (The Emily Atack Show & Radio 4's The Likely Dads) brings the funny on February 17.
Ignacio Lopez (Live at the Apollo, The Now Show and Celebrity Pointless) is next on the bill on March 3.
For dinner and a show, it's £80 and this includes three courses, a glass of wine or fizz or a bottle of beer per person, and entry to the gig.
