1 Annie’s Cute and quirky is a great way to describe Annie’s. With brightly coloured decorations and cosy furniture, Annie’s is the restaurant of choice for coffee dates, brunches with the girls or a romantic dinner for two. Make sure to try a stack of American buttermilk pancakes or a delicious plate of Eggs Benedict for brunch or turn to favourites, such as Annie’s Classic Shepherds Pie or Fresh Battered Haddock & Chips for dinner. 2 No.197 Chiswick Fire Station  Inspired by the old fire station that once stood in its present location, the owners of No.197 Chiswick Fire Station have created a unique bar that aims to instil a sense of community in all of its visitors. No.197 makes a point to use fresh, scratch-cooked food and well-sourced ingredients throughout their entire menu. From breakfast and brunch favourites, such as sourdough bruschetta with roast tomatoes, spinach, avocado and crispy bacon, or ricotta pancakes with season fruit to dinner classics like grilled sea bass and chips or a delicious No.197 house burger, restaurant-goers can’t really go wrong. 3 Villa di Geggiano  Inspired by the villa in Tuscany, and bearing the same name, Villa di Geggiano has brought the taste of Tuscany to London. Much of the ingredients are imported from the Villa and surrounding Tuscan farms, and are then prepared as classic Italian dishes, like a ricotta and spinach ravioli and a risotto with Tuscan sausage and saffron. 4 Le Vacherin This classically French restaurant is a local favourite in Chiswick. The beautiful bistro-style interiors feature lettered mirrors, retro prints, white tablecloths and leather banquettes, while the food and wine are as on point as you would expect of traditional Parisian gastronomy. Dine on snails, duck confit or sensational 28-day aged Châteaubriand. Giles Coren, in a review for The Times, noted that the ‘cooking is excellent’ and ‘is rare enough in its quality of produce, its purity of intention and its enthusiasm to be considered worth travelling to from anywhere in London’. So hop in a cab, non-Chiswick folk, this is destination dining worthy of leaving your postcode area for. 5 Little Bird  With an atmosphere inspired by her mother’s old cafe on Hayling Island, Little Bird’s founder Lorraine Angliss has brought a cute and quirky cocktail lounge and restaurant for all Londoners to enjoy. At Little Bird, guests can enjoy fresh Asian inspired food as well as choose a delicious cocktail from their extensive drink menu. 6 Vinoteca  If there’s anything Vinoteca takes pride in, it’s their wine menu. 7 High Road Brasserie This European-style brasserie on Chiswick High Road is open morning till late. Well, technically it’s open all night, since it has 14 bedrooms! Part of the Soho House, it offers good food, gorgeous interiors and a place to rest your weary head. Located on the site of the historic Foubert’s Hotel, it also has history, reflected in the interior’s Art Deco details. The all-day dining menu means you can swing by for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or cocktails with a snack. 8 La Trompette La Trompette has been bringing Londoners delicious food and an extensive wine menu since opening its doors in 2001. With menus that change frequently enough to keep its regulars guessing, La Trompette offers choices like grilled turbot, herb crusted chicken and barbecued côte de boeuf along with caramelised wafers, Gariguette strawberries and a rhubarb crumble soufflé.
