3 Hand in Hand Reopening 12 April outdoors On the edge of Wimbledon Common you’ll find the Hand in Hand, a Young’s Brewery pub that dates back to 1835 but had a glorious refurb in spring 2019. 4 The Fox & GrapesReopening 17 May A fab pub by Wimbledon Common, The Fox & Grapes serves top quality Modern British food with an Asian twist by Chef Paul Merrett. 5 The Crooked Billet Reopening 12 April outdoors One of Wimbledon’s finest drinking establishments, The Crooked Billet, on the corner of Wimbledon Common is within walking distance of the where all the tennis action happens. 8 Dog & Fox Reopening 12 April outdoors The Dog & Fox, an iconic pub located in the heart of Wimbledon village since the 1800s, has it all, from good decor – including a wall of tennis rackets – to a good collection of draught and craft beers, local London spirits and wines, breakfast, lunch, dinner and kids menus, plus events and 17 boutique hotel bedrooms. 9 Prince of Wales Reopening 17 May Conveniently located across the street from Wimbledon station, and with a history dating back to the 17th century, this Greene King pub is a good choice no matter the time of year.
