THE COFFEE TRAVELLER SCOOPS AWARD
Chiswick’s newest independent coffee shop The Coffee Traveller has already scooped the Time Out Love London crown of Best Coffee Shop/Café in Chiswick. Opening late last year, the Coffee Traveller offers a little slice of Central America. They use a variety of different brewing methods to deliver their special coffee..and this month are adding extra foodie goodies. With large dishes such as Red Onion & roasted sweet potatoes, Smoky Harissa Aubergine with Yogurt and Coriander, Soba noodle salad, Jalapeño corn bread with chipotle butter, Papusas revuelta served with Curtido, it’s sure to become a favourite with many more than just Strand on the Green locals.

EALING’S RESTAURANT GROUP CHARLOTTE’S EXPANDS
West London favourite and growing gastro-group, Charlotte’s, has a hat-trick of news this month, kicking off with the imminent opening of the much-anticipated Charlotte’s W5 in the old stable block at Dicken’s Yard in Ealing. Meanwhile, Charlotte’s Bistro in Chiswick sees new head chef Martyn Reynolds’ Michelin-starred background pay off as seasonal dishes such as silver mullet tartare with oyster mayonnaise, baked beetroot and pear see the restaurant scoop Time Out’s Most Loved Chiswick Restaurant award.

BYO TUESDAYS AT FOXLOW IN CHISWICK
Foxlow’s on Barley Mow passage, is the new 150-cover restaurant and bar from Will Beckett and Huw Gott, taking over from Sam’s. Serving charcoal-grilled steaks from The Ginger Pig, fish and seafood from Brixham, smoked meats and salads, excellent brunch and cocktails. Don’t miss BYO Tuesdays, where diners can bring their own bottle with free corkage for lunch and dinner.
