Temporary Closure of Folly Hill, Sydling St Nicholas
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984,as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Folly Hill, Sydling St Nicolas from Norden Lane A37 Crossroads Folly Hill East To Marrs Cross, to Marrs Cross East To Road Junction At Ford Sydling Water, a distance of approximately2175 metres. The Order is needed in orderto comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 23 May 2019 between 0900 and 1600 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 29 May 2019. The road will be open outside of these times, and also over the weekend. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity, and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above. The closure is also weather dependant. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface dressing works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. Temporary Closure of C33, Woodsford
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section
14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along
C33, WOODSFORD from its junction with Lower Lewell Farm to Portland House, a distance of approximately 2500
metres. The order is needed in orderto comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of
safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation
on 6 June 2019 and will remain in force for 18 months. however it is anticipated that the works will be completed
by15November2019.
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to carry out the replacement of new water main in the highway. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Highgate Lane - Frome Valley Road - Higher Woodsford Road. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Cruxton Lane, Maiden Newton from Cruxton Lane, to Notton Lane, a distance of approximately 840 metres. The Order is needed in orderto comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 23 May 2019 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 29 May 2019. The Order is needed in orderto comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 22 May 2019 between 0900 and 1600 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated thatthe works will be completed by 28 May 2019. Temporary Closure of Frome St Quintin Road, Frome St Quintin
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along FROME ST QUINTIN ROAD, FROME ST QUINTIN at Higher Chalmington, a distance of approximately 285 metres. The Order is needed in orderto comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 27 May 2019 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 June 2019. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out the replacement of a small culvert. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
