PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS A LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY hereby gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up part of Central Parade, Croydon.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Mr. Sritharan Shanmugaratnam 60 Central Parade, Croydon CRO OJD on 13 March 2019 planning reference 19/00109/FUL
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLANS are available for inspection at all reasonable hours at the Council's Access Croydon Reception Desk, Ground Floor, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA in the 28 days commencing Thursday 9 May 2019 and may be obtained, free of charge, from the London Borough of Croydon (quoting reference 19/00109/FUL) at the address stated below.

Description of Highway to be stopped up
(All measurements are approximate)
The highway to be stopped up is in the London Borough of Croydon and is shown shaded in yellow and line hatched in black on drawing reference 19/00109/FUL and comprises of an irregular five sided area of all-purpose highway (footway) located adjacent to No 60 Central Parade.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
KING HENRY'S DRIVE. NEW ADDINGTON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting installation works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in King Henry's Drive.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) The section of King Henry's Drive opposite Homestead Way, fronting Nos. 415 to 453 King Henry's Drive, will be closed adjacent to No. 415 from 15 to 16 May 2019, between 9.30am and 4.30pm each day.
(b) The section of King Henry's Drive opposite Homestead Way, fronting Nos. 415 to 453 King Henry's Drive, will be closed adjacent to No. 453 from 16 to 17 May 2019, between 9.30am and 4.30pm each day.
3. Whilst the restrictions are in operation the alternative route for traffic will be via the opposite junction of King Henry's Drive, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 15 May 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
BENSHAM LANE. THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas service, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Bensham Lane, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking in Bensham Lane will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" outside Nos. 313 to 325 Bensham Lane.
3. The Order will come into operation on 27 May 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately five days between 8am and 4pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROSS ROAD. CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Thames Water works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Cross Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Cross Road will be closed outside no. 53 Cross Road.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 17 June 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. 2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the High Street will be closed outside No.49 to No.51 High Street, Croydon.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 27 May 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

INGATESTONE ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to remove an advertising board, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Ingatestone Road, South Norwood.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
a) The north-east to south-west arm of Ingatestone Road will be closed between its junctions with Portland Road and the north-west to southeast arm of Ingatestone Road.
b) The south-eastern footway of the north-east to south-west arm of Ingatestone Road will be closed adjacent to the flank wall of No. 179 London Road.
c) Parking in the north-east to south-west arm of Ingatestone Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" between its junctions with Portland Road and the north-west to southeast arm of Ingatestone Road.
3. Whilst the restrictions are in force the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Portland Road, Apsley Road, Napier Road and Belfast Road, as appropriately signed. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure will be directed to the opposite footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on 24 May 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately one day between 8am and 5pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
