ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 201*
DUCKS WALK, TWICKENHAM MARLBOROUGH ROAD, RICHMOND (Reference 19/061)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment Order will be to introduce lengths of yellow lines as set out in the schedule to this Notice.
3. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 19/061, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices
4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to make the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Church Street Prescribed Routes Order will be to amend the exiting one-way working order which operates in Church Street, Twickenham to allow cyclists to proceed in both directions.

3. The general effect of the Oak Lane Prescribed Routes Order will be to amend the exiting one-way working order which operates in Oak Lane, Twickenham to allow cyclists to proceed in both directions.
4. The general effects of the Grosvenor Road One-way Order will be to amend the exiting one-way working order which operates in Grosvenor Road, Twickenham to allow cyclists to proceed in both directions.
5. The general effects the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be to introduce lengths of double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") in lengths of Oak Lane to the south-east of its junction with Devoncroft Gardens, and in lengths of Grosvenor Road, Twickenham.
6. The general effects of the Central Twickenham Parking Places Order will be to remove one parking space on the western side of Oak Lane to the south-east of Devoncroft Gardens and make certain changes to the layout of certain parking bays in Grosvenor Road, Twickenham which will result in a net loss of 3 parking spaces.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Colne Road, Twickenham
(Reference 19/065)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a service water pipe repair, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Colne Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Colne Road between its junctions with Mereway Road and May Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 15 May 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 15 May 2019 until 17 May 2019 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Mereway Road, Gravel Road, May Road and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Poulett Gardens, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Poulett Gardens between a point outside No. 54 and a point outside No. 56.
3. The order will come into effect on 13 May 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 13 May 2019 until 16 May 2019, with back up dates of between 20 May 2019 and 23 May 2019, if required, and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Cross Deep.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
