An application has been made to the Licensing Authority for Swindon by Cotswold Water Park Society Limited to vary the Premises Licence issued in respect of Riverside Park The application seeks the following variation in licensable activities: In addition to the current times the license authorises the carrying out of licensable activities, on Fridays and Saturdays during the Lechlade Music Festival (2nd Bank Holiday weekend in May each year), the supply of Alcohol, Late Night Refreshment and Live Music is currently licensed until 12 midnight in the marquee bar tent, and until 2300hrs on a Sunday during the event.

Proposal to change these timings to (only for the weekend of Lechlade Music Festival - 2nd Bank Holiday weekend in May each year):

Fridays and Saturdays - the supply of Alcohol, Late Night Refreshment & Live Music until 0100hrs - in the marquee bar

Sundays - the supply of Alcohol, Late Night Refreshment & Live Music until 12midnight - in the marquee bar tent. Sunday night precedes a bank holiday on the Monday,

Responsible Authorities (e.g. Police and Fire Brigade), and /or other persons (e.g. people/ businesses living or working within the vicinity), can make representations at any time between 09.00hrs & 16.30hrs. All representations must be made in writing [including e-mail or fax] to the Licensing Manager, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH, or email licensing@swindon.gov.uk The full application can be viewed at the above council offices between 09.00hrs & 16.30hrs Monday to Friday. It is an offence for anyone to recklessly or knowingly make a false statement in connection with a licensing application. The maximum fine on conviction is £5000.
