ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 6 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 201* DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH (Reference 19/059)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6, and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The principal objective of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order is to introduce a number of parking places for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and to discontinue a number of parking places previously provided where the demand for such bays no longer exists.
3. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will introduce a parking bay for disabled persons' vehicles, operating at any time' in the following streets:
Carrington Road, Richmond; Latimer Road, Teddington; Lincoln Avenue, Twickenham; Rectory Road, Barnes; Church Road, Toddington; Leyborne Park, Kew; Melville Road, Barnes; Second Avenue, Mortlake; and Twining Avenue, Twickenham.
4. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will also revoke the existing parking bays for disabled persons' vehicles in the vicinity of the following properties: -
88 Buckingham Road, Hampton; 23 Gerard Road, Barnes; 8 Meadow Close, Whitton; 49a Priory Road, Hampton; 25 Clifton Road, Twickenham; 51 Mill Farm Crescent, Whitton; 21 Oldfield Road, Hampton; and
5. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 19/059 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov. uk/public_notices
6. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Station Road, Teddington (Ref: 19/058)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation, they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a road closure in Station Road, Teddington. 2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Station Road, Teddington between its junction with High Street, Teddington and Enterprise Way.
3. The Order will come into effect on 21 April 2019. The restrictions will be in force between 8am and 4pm on 21 April 2019 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bridgeman Road, Cedar Road and High Street, Teddington.
5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Church Lane, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial re-instatement works to be undertaken, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Church Lane, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Church Lane, Twickenham between its junctions with Riverside and Flood Lane.
3. The order will come into effect on 15 April 2019. The restrictions will be in force between 8am and 6pm on 15 April 2019 only and whilst signs/ cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Access to Riverside will be available via Water Lane.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Waiting Restriction Waldegrave Road, Teddington
(Ref: 19/057)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection, they to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Waldegrave Road, Teddington.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Waldegrave Road on both sides, between a point outside No 79 Waldegrave Road and a point outside No. 97 Waldegrave Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 15 April 2019. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 15 April 2019 until 19 April 2019. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Footpath Closure Public Right of Way No 236 Linking Kneller Road and Whitton Dene

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate various improvement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce
a footpath closure of PRW 236 which links Kneller Road with Whitton Dene.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may proceed in that length of PRW 236 which links Kneller Road and Whitton Dene.
3. Whilst the closure is in effect, a signed alternative route for pedestrians will be available via adjacent streets.
4. The order will come into effect on 15 April 2019. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 15 April 2019 until 14 October 2019, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. The provisions of the order will be in force at all times where relevant signs are placed. The order will remain in force for a period of 6 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
