HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 DIVERSION OF FOOTPATHS EC-513 (PART) (FORMERLY FOOTPATH 5), AND EC-518 (FORMERLY FOOTPATH 6) IN THE PARISH OF ELMLEY CASTLE PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2019 The above Order, made on 7 March 2019 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by: FOOTPATH EC-513 (PART) (FORMERLY FOOTPATH NO. 5)
By diverting the length and entire width of footpath EC-513 (part) in the parish of Elmley Castle commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 9769 4151) and heading in an east south easterly direction for 215 metres to OSGR SO 9788 4141. The path then turns to head in a north north, easterly direction for 9 metres to OSGR SO 9788 4142 where it terminates at its junction with EC-517 and EC-518. To a point commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 9769 4151. The path heads in an east south easterly direction for 215 metres to OSGR SO 9788 4142 where it terminates at its junction with footpaths EC-517 and EC-518. FOOTPATH EC-518 (FORMERLY FOOTPATH NO. 6) By diverting the length and entire width of footpath EC-518 in the parish of Elmley Castle commencing at OSGR SO 9788 4142 at its junction with footpaths EC-513 and EC-517. The path proceeds in a south easterly direction across a field then farmyard for 119 metres to OSGR SO 9796 4133 where it terminates at its junction with U46605 Hill Lane. The total distance of footpaths to be diverted is 343 metres.
To a point commencing with a width of 2.8 metres at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 9788 4142 and running in an east south easterly direction for 3 metres. The footpath then continues at a width of 3 metres in an east south easterly direction along a field boundary for 109 metres to OSGR SO 9798 4137 where it terminates at its junction with footpath EC-519. The total distance of the diverted footpaths is 327 metres.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, and at Wychavon District Council, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Station Road, Pershore, WR10 1PT on Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought at County Hall, Worcester at the price of £7.50. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Head of Legal and Democratic Services, County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP quoting the reference MW/4020/536 or e-mail Footpaths@worcestershire.gov.uk not later than 28 days (9 May 2019). Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn the County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
