Notice is hereby given to the inhabitants aged eighteen years and over of the Colney Heath Parish of a meeting to be held in the Community Room at the Colney Heath Village Hall, 83 High Street, Colney Heath AL4 ONS on Tuesday 16th April 2019 at 7.30pm when a Resolution will be proposed. The Resolution shall propose that, if confirmed by a majority present, the Village Hall Council may with any necessary consent pass the premises owned by the Trust - charity number 302357, to the Colney Heath Village Hall Charitable Incorporated Organisation ("CIO") - charity number 1182607 by letting, sale or transfer as the case may be. The constitution of the CIO reflects the Charities Commission's best practice guidance for governance, protects trustees, and improves succession.
