has applied to Purbeck District Council for a Premises Licence under Section 17* (If new premises)/ Section 34* (varying a premises licence)/ Section 29* (provisional statement) of the Licensing Act 2003 for the Premises known as and situate at
Section 17*
(The SandfordPub, Sandford, Dorset BH20 7AE}
and propose to carry on the following activities:-Sale of Alcohol, and/or a performance or rehearsal of a play; and/or an exhibition of a film; and/or an indoor sporting event; and/or a boxing or wrestling entertainment; and/or a performance of live music (or entertainment of a similar description); and/or any playing of recorded music (or entertainment of a similar description); and/or a performance of dance (or entertainment of a similar description); and/or providing entertainment facilities to allow people to take part in making music or dancing (or entertainment of a similar description); and/or late night refreshment.
Applications are available for public inspection at Purbeck District Council or on www.dorsetforyou.com
Responsible Authorities or any other person may make representations in writing on the proposals in the application to the Licensing Authority but these must be submitted between Monday 18th March- 15th April.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is level 5 of the standard scale (£5000, January 2005).
