Temporary Parking Suspension, Lymington Road, Christchurch
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. The order will come into operation on the 08 April 2019, and will remain in force for 18 months. The order will be in effect 24hrs a day, and as indicated by the signage on site. The order is to allow Colmar Construction safe access to create a new access
to a development.
The effect of the order is as follows;
[A] To impose a temporary parking suspension and clearway on Lymington Road, Christchurch, from the end of the existing parking bays outside no 265, Lymington Road, to approximately the end of 261, Lymington Road, a distance of approximately 15 metres.

Dorset County Council is applying for planning permission for Demolition of the former Middle School building and adjoining hardstandings and paths. Alteration of the existing entrance and installation of temporary track, both to serve demolition (ref 6/2019/0168).
