Notice of closure of cemetery Bradenstoke Methodist Church

At a meeting of Bradenstoke Methodist church council on 10th May 2015, it was decided that the cemetery at the church would be formally closed for further burials and internments of ashes.

It was further decided that the chapel building would be sold with worship continuing in the church hall.

Following sale of the chapel, a section of the cemetery containing more recent burials will be retained and maintained by the Methodist church and will become a memorial garden accessible by the public.

Graves at the front of the chapel will be resited to the Memorial garden.

Gravestones relating to historic burials would be resited in the Memorial Garden.
