Tenders are invited for rebuilding a stone wall of approx. 58m in length and approx. 1.2m height, demolished by flooding in 2015. Some site clearance and levelling of base stones necessary. Some walling and capping stone is on site, with any additional stone to be sourced and fitted by the contractor. An early start to the work is preferred. Completion deadline 30/09/19. Detailed specification available from the Clerk to the council, who will arrange site visits as necessary. Tenders to be in writing and sent to the Clerk in a sealed envelope marked ‘TENDER’.
