William Reed Weaving Retirement Benefits Scheme

Notice under section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925
In accordance with section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is given that the winding-up of the William Reed Weaving Retirement Benefits Scheme (Scheme) will shortly be completed. The Trustees request that (a) any former employee (whether full-time or part-time) of A.T.C. Manufacturing Limited (formerly known as A.T.C Specialist Product and Service Division Limited and Thomas Birkhead & Son, Limited) or, if that person is deceased, (b) the spouse or dependant of that person, who in either case is (or thinks that they might be) entitled to benefits under the Scheme, and (c) any other person who believes that they may have a claim against the Scheme, provides written particulars of any such entitlement or claim to Joanne Grace, Allied Textiles Limited, 5, Morston Claycliffe Office Park, Whaley Rd, Barnsley S75 1HQ on or before 18th May 2019. After this date, the Trustees will complete the winding-up of the Scheme and, in doing so, will have regard only to the claims of which they currently have notice. The Trustees shall then not be liable to any person whose claim has not been notified to them by the date stated in this notice. Notification is not required from persons who had their Scheme benefits secured with Pension Insurance Corporation with effect from 29 August 2017.
