London Borough of Sutton Public Notices
LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AND HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -
(a) The Sutton (Prescribed Route) (One-Way) (No. *) (Amendment No. **) Order 201*;
(b) The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*; and
(d) The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*.
The general effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) reverse the one-way system applying to all vehicles in the following lengths of Anton Crescent, Sutton:
(i) to a south-east to north-west direction between its junctions with Northspur Road and the south-eastern arm of Anton Crescent; and
(ii) to a south-west to north-east direction, between its junctions with the north-eastern arm of Anton Crescent and its south-eastern junction with Collingwood Road;
(b) remove a certain length of double yellow line in Anton Crescent on the north-western side of the south-eastern arm;
(c) provide double yellow line 'at any time' waiting restrictions in certain lengths of:
(i) Anton Crescent on the south-eastern side of the south-eastern arm; and
(ii) Collingwood Road, Sutton; outside Nos. 123 to 133,155 to 159 and 265 to 267;
(d) revoke certain lengths of Permit Holders Parking Bays in Collingwood Road operating "between 8.00am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays outside Nos. 114 and 116 and 162; and
(e) introduce new lengths of school keep clear Markings in Anton Crescent operating between "8am and 4pm Mondays to Fridays" Inclusive outside Westbourne primary School.
NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes, under section 90A of the Highways Act 19802 to:-
(a) remove existing speed cushions outside Nos. 102 and 104, 168, 206 and 294 Collingwood Road; and
(b) construct the type of road humps known as:-
¦ "entry treatments" in the following locations:-
? Alexander Avenue, Sutton, extending from its junction with Collingwood Road, with a length of approximately 7 metres Including the ramps which would each have a gradient of 1:20;
? Anton Crescent, Sutton, extending from its south-eastern junction with Collingwood Road, with a length of approximately 7 metres including the ramps which would each have a gradient of 1:20;
? Chaucer Road, Sutton, extending from its junction with Collingwood Road, with a length of approximately 7 metres Including the ramps which would each have a gradient of 1:20; and
? "a raised table" in Anton Crescent at its junction with Northspur Road with an overall length of 37 metres in its north-west to southeast direction and an overall length of 16 metres in its south-west to north-east direction including ramps which would each have a gradient of 1:20.
Each road hump would be an elevated section of carriageway with a flat top, 75 millimetres higher at Its highest point than the surrounding carriageway.
4. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders (and of the Orders that would be revoked or amended by the proposed Orders) and plans showing
the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 am and 5 pm on Monday to Friday.

6. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of London Borough of Sutton, as part of this proposal, and by the powers conferred under section 15 of the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1974 is resolving removal of certain footway parking exemption outside:-
> No. 133 Bramblewood Close;
? Nos. 16 and 18 Halesowen Road;
? Nos. 31 and 33 Peterborough Road;
? No. 39 Stavordale Road;
? No. 138 Thornton Road;
? No. 4 Wendling Road;
? No.1 Wigmore Road;
? No. 92 Wigmore Road; and
? No. 209 Winchcombe Road.

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) SPRINGFIELD ROAD, WALLINGTON
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate new utility connections and because these works are being executed on or near the carriageway it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.
2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 1 April 2019. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. Whilst the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will in Springfield Road (on both sides) from its junction with Manor Road to the entrance of Denmore Court temporarily Introduce waiting restrictions 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions 'no loading at any time'.
4. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986
5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
