PROPOSED EXTENSION OF THE CROYDON (EAST OUTER AREA) CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE The Croydon (East Outer Zone) (Parking Places) (No.1) Traffic Order 2019
The Croydon (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No.1) Traffic Order 2019
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 11 March 2019 made the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to extend the Croydon East Outer Area Controlled Parking Zone as detailed below.
(a) Shared use 8 hour (pay by phone/permit) parking bays with an 8 hour maximum stay for pay by phone users, will be introduced in conjunction with 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday inclusive waiting restrictions, into the roads/sections of road detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.
(b) All existing "at any time" double yellow line waiting restrictions and disabled bays will remain.
(c) Residents and businesses in the roads/sections of road specified in the Schedule to this notice may apply for parking permits. Current permit charges are £80 for the first resident's permit, £126 for the second and final permit. A maximum of two permits per business can be purchased at £382 per permit. There is a £30 one-off administration charge applied to all new permit applications.
(d) Current pay by phone charges for parking in the bays will vary from 50p for 30 minutes to £8.00 for 8 hours (maximum).
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 18 March 2019, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1EA.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to extend the Croydon North Controlled Parking Zone into the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice as a new "N2" sub-zone:-
(a) introducing 12 hour 'pay by phone/permit' parking bays and yellow line waiting restrictions operating from 8am to 8pm, Mondays to Sundays inclusive, or "at any time" where appropriate;
(b) existing yellow line waiting restrictions and disabled bays will remain.
(c) charges for pay by phone parking in the bays will vary from 50p for 30 minutes to £12 for 12 hours (maximum) Monday to Saturday, with a charge of £1.30 for one hour or £3.30 for the whole day on Sunday. Payments would be made via the RlngGo pay by phone system;
(d) Residents and businesses in the roads/sections of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice may apply for N2 parking permits. Current permit charges are £80 for the first resident's permit and £126 for the second and final permit. A maximum of two permits per business can be purchased at £382 per permit. A £30 administration fee applies to all new permit applications.
3. Copies of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders were made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.

5. The Orders are intended to extend the Croydon North Controlled Parking Zone, as a new "N2" sub-zone, into the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice, introducing 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday inclusive waiting restrictions and "at any time" waiting restrictions where appropriate, in conjunction with 12 hour shared use (permit and pay by phone) bays. This would alleviate residents' parking problems caused by non-residents, including commuters, and improve road safety, keeping junctions clear and preventing obstructive parking.

Current permit charges are £80 for the first resident's permit and £126 for the second and final permit. A maximum of two permits per business can be purchased at £382 per permit. (d) Current RingGo charges for parking in the bays would vary from 30p for 30 minutes to £4.80 for 8 hours (maximum).
