LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTIONS 14(1) and 14(7) LONDON ROAD, TOOTING (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in London Road, Tooting, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in the said road.

2. During the worksi­te) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including

for the purpose of loading or unloading, in London Road, the west side, between the northern boundary of No. 16 London Road and the common boundary of Nos. 56 and 58 London Road; and
(b) the northbound bus lane in London Road, the west side, would be suspended between the northern boundary of No. 16 London Road and the common boundary of Nos. 56 and 58 London Road.
3. Any designated loading bay or designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) of this notice would be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. The restrictions and suspensions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the works would travel northbound using the suspended length of bus lane.

7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 18 March 2019 with the works currently anticipated to be carried out over 4 days. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of three months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) KINGSTON ROAD AND PALMERSTON ROAD, WIMBLEDON
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate telecom and associated works at the junction o1 Palmerston Road with Kingston Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:

(a) proceed in Palmerston Road, between its junction with Kingston Road and a point 12 metres north of the said junction, other than in a generally southbound direction; or

(b) turn left into Palmerston Road from Kingston Road.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Kingston Road, Southey Road and Pelham Road.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. The Order will come into operation on Monday 18th March 2019. It is anticipated that the works will be carried out over 3 days, but the Order will remain in force until 17th September 2019 should

further works be required. Dated 5 March 2019.
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
MANSEL ROAD, SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new utility connection works in Mansel Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the worksi­te) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to enter or

proceed in Mansel Road, SW19, between the south-western kerb-line of Wimbledon Hill Road and a point 30 metres south­west of that kerb-line;
(b) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above; and

(c) any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Wimbledon Hill Road, High Street, Wimbledon, Ridgway, Ridgway Place, Worple Road and Raymond Road or vice^versa.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 25th March 2019 with the works expected to be carried out until Friday 29 March 2019 inclusive. However, the Order would remain in force for 6 month should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) CHURCH ROAD AND HAWTHORNE AVENUE, MITCHAM (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works at No. 260 Church Road, Mitcham, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Church Road and Hawthorne Avenue.

2. During the works, no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-

(i) Church Road, the east side, between the common boundary of Nos. 260 and 262 Church Road and its junction with Hawthorne Avenue; or

(ii) Hawthorne Avenue, both sides, between its junction with Church Road and a point opposite the eastern boundary of No. 260 Church Road; or

(b) enter or proceed on the footway:-

(i) in the length of Church Road, the east side, specified in sub-paragraph 2(a)(i) above; or

(ii) in Hawthorne Road, the north side, between its junction with Church Road and a point opposite the eastern boundary of No. 260 Church Road.

3. Any designated parking place or loading bay situated in the lengths of roads specified in sub-paragraphs 2(a)(i) and (ii) above will be suspended for the duration of the works at No. 260 Church Road.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Pedestrians affected by the footway closures should proceed using the footway opposite.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or

(b) any person engaged in the execution of the said works; or

(c) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(d) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(e) so as to prevent pedestrian access to premises in or adjacent to the length of footway specified in Article 2(b) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into operation on Saturday 9 March 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(MAYCROSS AVENUE, MORDEN) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and general maintenance works to be undertaken in the road specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice, they intend to make an Order, the effecl of which, during the works, would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, proceeding in or waiting, including in any parking places, in that road or length of road specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice.

2. Any designated parking place situated in the road or any length of road specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice would be suspended for the duration of the works in that road.

3. Alternative routes for diverted traffic would be indicated by advance warning and diversion signs on the roads affected when the works are in progress but would likely be the diversion route specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this notice.

4. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. The Order would come into force on Wednesday 20th March 2019 and the anticipated works dates are specified in column 3 of the Schedule to this notice. However, the Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions would be re-introduced should further works be required.
