Further to the notice published on 22 February 2019 in the London Gazette and the Wimbledon Times in relation to proposed alterations to the parking and cycle lane layouts in Melrose Avenue, Wimbledon Park and a proposed raised entry table in Melrose Avenue, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the consultation period for the above proposed Orders and raised entry table has been extended until 22 March 2019.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON PROPOSED 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT IN VARIOUS ROADS IN THE MITCHAM AND MORDEN AREAS THE MERTON (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 20*
1. FURTHER TO THE NOTICE PUBLISHED IN THE LONDON GAZETTE AND WIMBLEDON TIMES ON 25 JANUARY 2019, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 84 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to:-
(a) impose a 20 MPH speed limit in the roads or lengths of roads described in the Schedule to this notice, and,
(b) revoke the Orders specified in Schedule 2 to this notice and re-enact their provisions.
3. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicate the lengths of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during the Council's normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden or at the Mitcham Library, 157 London Road, Mitcham CR4 2YR or at the Colliers Wood Library, 105-109 High Street Colliers Wood, London SW19 2HR.
4. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting the reference ES/MITCHAMAREA20MPH no later than 22 March 2019.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 27 February 2019, made the above mentioned Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the "Speed Limit" Order will be to impose a speed limit of 20 miles per hour in Bushey Road, the slip road section linking Beverley Way southbound and the main arm of Bushey Road, from the western boundary of Nos. 84 and 86 Bushey Road to its junction with the main arm of Bushey Road outside West Wimbledon Primary School.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 4 March 2019, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the length of road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON AMENDMENT TO CPZ ZONE RPC PROPOSED REMOVAL OF A LENGTH OF PARKING PLACE IN AMITY GROVE TO FACILITATE A VEHICLE CROSSOVER THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (RPC) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Order.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to:-
(a) convert a section of existing parking place generally fronting No. 88 Amity Grove to a single yellow line waiting restriction matching the operational times of the controlled parking zone 'RPC' to facilitate a proposed vehicle crossover; and
(b) revoke the Merton (Parking Places) (RPC) (No. 2, 2015) (Amendment No. 1) Order 2019 and re-enact its provisions in relation to a parking place in Pepys Road.
3. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicates the lengths of road to which the Order relates can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.
4. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/AMITYGROVE, no later than 22nd March 2019.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) CHURCH ROAD AND HAWTHORNE AVENUE, MITCHAM (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works at No. 260 Church Road, Mitcham, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Church Road and Hawthorne Avenue.
2. During the works, no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-
(i) Church Road, the east side, between the common boundary of Nos. 260 and 262 Church Road and its junction with Hawthorne Avenue; or
(ii) Hawthorne Avenue, both sides, between its junction with Church Road and a point opposite the eastern boundary of No. 260 Church Road; or
(b) enter or proceed on the footway:-
(i) in the length of Church Road, the east side, specified in sub-paragraph 2(a)(i) above; or
(ii) in Hawthorne Road, the north side, between its junction with Church Road and a point opposite the eastern boundary of No. 260 Church Road.
3. Any designated parking place or loading bay situated in the lengths of roads specified in sub-paragraphs 2(a)(i) and (ii) above would be suspended for the duration of the works at No. 260 Church Road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Pedestrians affected by the footway closures should proceed using the footway opposite.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c)any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order would come into operation on Saturday 9 March 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
