LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
The Council of the London Borough of Sutton with the agreement of the London Borough of Merton, and Transport for London hereby gives notice that in order to enable maintenance works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner in certain roads it made an Order, from March 4 for a maximum of 18 months but with an anticipated finish date of April 2019. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle including pedal cycles to proceed or wait including waiting for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or for loading or unloading a vehicle on the sections of affected roads, mentioned in the table below, except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those lengths of roads.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of temporary waiting restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. It is anticipated that all roads will be closed for a duration of between 1 and 5 days within the road closure notice period; the closure may be on consecutive days, separate days or night-time works depending upon site, weather conditions and works required. Advanced warning signs for the road closure will be placed on site at least 10 days before the planned commencement of each period of work.
Letters will be distributed in advance of any works in the roads listed in the table below. The letter will give more specific details of the prohibitions and restrictions and will also detail any diversion routes as necessary. NOTE: the Order will also suspend any disabled persons parking place, permit parking place, shared use permit/pay and display parking place, footway parking bay or any other free parking place in any of the lengths of roads listed in the table.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended -

(a) The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*; and

(b) The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to in Central Road, Worcester Park in place of certain existing restrictions either extend or introduce:-

(a) Disabled Persons Parking Places operating 'at any time' located outside Harcros House, and Nos. 129 and 131;

(b) Free Parking Places operating Monday to Saturday between 8am to 6.30pm 30 minutes No return within 1 hour located outside Nos. 68 to 72 and Nos 160 to 164;

(c) Dual Use Goods Loading Places and Free Parking Places operating Monday to Saturday. Goods Vehicle Loading is allowed between 8am to 12.30pm and are for the use of vehicles that are being continually loaded or unloaded for periods of up to 30 minutes, no return within 1 hour. Free Parking is allowed between 12.30pm to 6.30pm for periods of up to 30 minutes, no return within 1 hour located outside Nos. 76 to 86, Nos. 105 to 109, Nos. 124 and 126, Nos. 155 and 157; and Nos. 158 and 160;

(d) Double Yellow Lines and Kerb Markings Waiting and Loading Restrictions operating 'at any time' located outside No. 33 either side of the bus stop, Nos. 65 to 69, Nos. 74 and 76, Nos. 99 to 103 Nos. 106 to 110, Nos. 109 to 115, Nos. 128 to 136, Nos. 131 to 137, Nos. 156 and 158, and Nos 168 to 182.

3. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday.

4. LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton with the agreement of Transport for London hereby gives notice that in order to erect a tower crane and because the works are being executed on or near the road it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.

2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 25 March 2019 with works expected to take 3 months to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

3. Whilst the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily in Sutton Court Road between its junction with Chalk Pit Way and the south-western boundary of Leben Court-

? close the road, (note: the permanent road closure in Sutton Court Road at its junction with Langley Park Road will be temporarily re­opened to allow for two way vehicular access);

? introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions - 'no loading at any time' on both sides of the road.

4. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986

5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
