Notice of Publicity under Article 17 (2) of the Town & Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2011

An application has been lodged by Mulberry Homes (Yorkshire) Ltd; Persimmon Homes (Yorkshire) Limited; Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire; Messrs G B E & I Gill and Catherine Corner (the Applicant) to Hambleton District Council (Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Northallerton, DL6 2UU) seeking planning permission for mixed use development including a new road on land east of Darlington Road, west of Stokesley Road, west of Northallerton Road, north of Thurston Road Industrial Estate and west of Northallerton-Middlesbrough railway line, north Northallerton (LDF allocation NM5 North Northallerton area) The application will be accompanied by an Environmental Statement (ES) A hybrid planning application was submitted to Hambleton DC on 29 May 2015. The submitted planning application comprises full planning application for Phase 1 residential comprising 150 dwellings to the east of Darlington Road and 148 dwellings to the west of Stokesley Road, including earth works across the site, engineering works for drainage associated with Phase 1 residential, associated infrastructure, construction of strategic link road from Darlington Road to the west and Stokesley Road to the east including roundabouts and road bridge crossing railway line and village green; outline planning application for a mixed use development of 900 dwellings (C3) which includes the residential development comprising Phase 1 referred to above, employment (B1, B2, B8), neighbourhood centre comprising shops (A1), restaurants (A3) and drinking establishments (A4), extra care facilities (C2), medical facilities (D1), primary school (D1), community uses including recreation playing pitches and allotments, car parking and means of access (all matters reserved apart from means of access) Copies of the submitted planning application (including ES) can be viewed (during their normal opening hours) at Hambleton Council Planning Department (Civic Centre, Stone Cross) and on the Council’s public access website as well as at Northallerton Library (1 Thirsk Road, Northallerton, DL6 1PT). The documents will be available for at least 21 days from the date of this notice. Comments on the planning application should be submitted to the Planning Department by 26 July 2015. Copies of the submitted Environmental Statement can be obtained from I D Planning (Leeds) (so long as stocks last) by telephoning 0113 243 6116 or emailing info@idplanning.co.uk. Paper copies can be provided at a charge of £300 (full ES) or £5 for Non Technical Summary with electronic copies on disk available for £15. Should you wish to comment on the submitted application these can be made in writing to the Planning Department at Hambleton District Council or via the Council’s Public Access website.
